It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and FCA Lacrosse Director, Glen Miles.

Glen was a devoted husband, a loving father to three daughters, a coach, mentor, and faithful friend to so many. His life touched people far beyond the lacrosse field, and his legacy will continue through the athletes, coaches, families, and friends who were blessed to know him.

Over the last 22 years of his life, God worked powerfully in Glen's heart. His faith in Jesus Christ became central to who he was and how he lived. Lacrosse was no longer simply a game he loved. It became a way to serve others, build relationships, encourage young people, and share the hope he had found in Christ.

Glen's impact on the game was significant. During his seven seasons as head coach at St. Margaret's Episcopal School, Coach Miles led the Tartans to three US Lacrosse Southern Section Championships in 2013, 2015, and 2019. He also founded and led the Victory Lacrosse Program from 2008 through 2023, investing years of his life into developing athletes both on and off the field.

Yet championships and accomplishments only tell part of Glen's story.

His greatest legacy can be seen in the people he loved, the lives he influenced, and the faith he lived out. He led with humility, cared deeply for others, and understood that the greatest victories in life are not always recorded on a scoreboard.

As Christians, we grieve because someone deeply loved is no longer with us. But we do not grieve without hope. Our confidence rests in the promise of Jesus Christ and the gift of eternal life.

Glen finished his race having used the gifts God gave him to serve others and point people toward Christ. His was truly a life well lived.

May we honor Coach Miles not only by remembering what he accomplished, but by continuing what mattered most to him: loving people well, serving faithfully, investing in the next generation, and sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.
